Speaking at the Egyptian United Nations Association on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the diplomat outlined the efforts made by Egypt since the start of the Gaza crisis, saying that Egypt has strengthened its humanitarian and takes on regional responsibilities to end the crisis. the Palestinian bloodshed.
He referred to the contacts Egypt had with regional and international partners, as well as field visits organized to the Rafah terminal and Arish to monitor developments in the war-hit coastal enclave.
He said Egypt organized a peace conference in an effort to make the international community fulfill its responsibility towards Palestine and encouraged world attention to recognize the State of Palestine.
Egypt also helped evacuate nationals of many countries from the Gaza Strip and facilitated the access of humanitarian aid to Gaza before Israel took control of the Rafah border terminal.
He reiterated Egypt’s categorical rejection of attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue and expel Palestinians from their land.
Speaking about the international ministerial conference organized by Egypt on Monday, he said the event aims to mobilize humanitarian aid for the war-ravaged Gaza Strip.
